Custom fields can be added to the Trade Orders confirmation page in the form of cart attributes as explained here: https://help.shopify.com/themes/customization/cart/get-more-information-with-cart-attributes 


The page to add this to in the theme editor will either be within the cart form in the cart.liquid template or anywhere within the <body>...</body> in the page.trade-orders-confirmation.liquid template.


Emails

The code for email templates can be added through the settings->notifications section of your stores admin. The custom field can be accessed within the templates:

  • Order confirmation
  • New order
  • New order (mobile)
  • Shipping confirmation
  • Shipping update
  • Additional Content & Scripts
  • Fulfillment request

Within these templates use {{ attributes.custom-field }} Where the "custom-field" here will be based on what you named the custom field you previously added in the section above.
